Favorite Books Series and Why

People kept telling me “Read Brandon Sanderson!” And I kept thinking “Nah, I’m not really interested. Plus the books are long.” Oh, boy was I glad to pick up my first ever Brandon Sanderson book, Way of Kings. It’s my favorite book of all time. The world-building is phenomenal in every book I’ve read of his. I’m sucked into each book, unable to put it down until my eyes burn from staring at the pages for too long. If you haven’t read Brandon Sanderson, do it now!! Even unbelievers can be made into believers.

I love these books. At first, I was drawn in by the beautiful covers. Next, the story caught me like a fish on a hook. The bachelor/bachelorette meets dystopian. These books are just too good. The next book on my list by Kiera Cass is Betrothed. If only it would come in the mail! I ordered it a month ago.

Oh. My. Amazing! I am in love with Rhys. Maybe even a little obsessed. I love the characters, the magic, the world-building, the storyline. I am EAGERLY awaiting Nessa’s story, which I believe is set to come out in 2021. So lonnnnggggg!!

I have to throw these in there because they are just so good! The Hope Springs Series by Sarah M. Eden had me in fits of laughter as well as in tears. You can’t help but to fall in love with the characters. I read them two years ago, and I still think about them often. My favorite characters are Joseph and Ian. Though if I had to pick a love interest for myself, Tavish all the way. Swoon! Too bad Cecily can’t see how handsome he is! (She’s blind.) Set in the late 1800s, the series will make you feel a range of emotions. Pick them up, you won’t be disappointed!

  1. I think I need to read the A Court of Thorns and Roses Series. It keeps coming up in my life. Good list, thanks for sharing. 🙂

  2. Those Sanderson books sound great! Right up my husband’s alley, and he’s about out of things to read, since most used book sales are in the spring. Don’t think we’ll be able to go to any this year. So I may need to get him a few books for his April b-day.

  3. LOL! That’s the trouble with reading series, especially one you’re mad for, the wait for the next one feels interminable!
I haven’t read the Kiera Cass series but every time I see one of those covers I pause and think… hmmmm. One day I’ll succumb.
