What I wanted to do
For most of my life, I was passionate about dinosaurs! I always wanted to be a paleontologist, go on adventures, and make new discoveries. In college, I even took a dinosaur class from a real paleontologist. I ate the information up. I LOVED dinosaurs! I loved learning about them, I loved memorizing bone structures and fancy names. But of course, life always has different plans for you.
What I actually do
Currently, I’m a full-time stay-at-home mommy to two of the most precious souls in the world. I’ve never had a harder job in my life. Kudos to those parents who are homeschooling their kids this year due to recent events. (Speaking of Kudos, do they still make those delicious granola bars? I haven’t seen them around lately.)

On the side, I write books. My latest paranormal romance release just came out earlier this month! I’ve always wanted to write books as well. I graduated with an English degree, but I was very tempted to switch majors into something more paleontology friendly. But marriage happens, and then babies, and I wouldn’t change my mommy job for the world! ❤
Being a mom is hard work. I’m a mom, too. You’re doing great, I’m sure 🙂

Your kids are adorable.
And, yes, I’ve seen Kudos bars for sale in Toronto. I hope you’ll find them, too, if you want to eat them again. 🙂

You’re doing the good work. I used to tell people that I worked because I loved my kids and wanted to keep both of them alive. Hahaha. They’re now 18 and 20 so I must have did something right.
Congrats on your recent release, too.

You’ve got two kids that age and you have time to write! Wow Wonder Woman. Enjoy them before they become teenagers. Then look forward to your grandkids. https://pmprescott.blogspot.com/2020/08/wc-081220.html

My kid wanted to be a paleontologist in the worst way (one of my stories, “Now That We’ve Found You” is loosely based on her as the child and the hero is a paleontologist). My husband told her she’d never be able to support herself doing it, though, and eventually she gave up the dream. Sad but true.
And SAHM is the best job ever.

Funny how life happens when you are making plans. Sounds like you are exactly where you are supposed to be and enjoying life. Mommy is a tough but rewarding job. Thanks for sharing. Here’s mine. https://www.tenastetler.com/lsrs-wed-blog-challenge-what-i-wanted-to-do-when-i-grew-up-vs-what-i-do/
