Book Review of A Foreman’s Unplanned Bride by Blythe Carver

My Review

I loved this one! Molly and Lewis were always at each other’s throats, but they were true and they were genuine. Every thought, every emotion was laid out on the table for the other to see, which only added to the richness of their relationship.

Each character, even the side characters, were written with such depth and detail. I couldn’t help but love every one. This quickly became one of my favorite enemies to friends to lovers story that I’ve read.

This is the second book I’ve read in this series, but I’m itching for more!

My rating: 5 stars

New Release from Mona Sedrak

From the Author

Gravity is a heart-warming story of two individuals from remarkably differing backgrounds that are inexplicably drawn to one another, forming a strong friendship and falling in love–– despite the odds against them. The story depicts the beautiful Middle Eastern culture I was raised in and its many traditions as well as some of its challenges. Readers will identify with this story, no matter their background because it speaks to and awakens the human heart.

Gravity is about tolerance, acceptance, understanding, and forgiveness. Finally, it is a story of love and hope. When I started writing Gravity several years ago, I couldn’t have predicted how relevant it would be today. At the end of the day, I want readers to understand that although we may be different, as members of the human race, our similarities out-weigh our differences and love is the universal language that binds us.

Book Review of Blueberry Swirl Waltz

My Review

When at first life goes in a different direction than you planned, take a detour.

Katie has always dreamed of getting out of the small town and becoming a ballroom instructor, to later participate in ballroom competitions. When she lands the job of her dreams, fate takes a different turn when her mom breaks her arm. With no one else to take over the ice cream shop, she drops everything to help out her mom’s business. However, fate takes a right turn the moment Chaz Hollander steps foot in the shop.

This book had everything. From heart-warming family scenes to sizzling, romantic chemistry to a strong, feisty heroine willing to go the distance to save her family’s business from foreclosure. I enjoyed every moment of this book. Definitely recommend!

Book Review of The Peasant’s Dream by Melanie Dickerson

My Review

When a simple peasant steals Adela’s heart, is there a way they can make their relationship work? Can the daughter of a duke and a wood-carver find happiness together when they are from vastly different worlds?

Full of romance, danger, and a conniving advisor, The Peasant’s Dream is a fairytale reimagined that had me turning page after page as I was gripped by the story. The characters are well developed, and I enjoyed peeling back layer after layer as I got to know them better.

I want to go back and read previous books in the series now. I really enjoyed this book!

*I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Book Review of Praline Dreams by Annette Miller

My Review

Very cute.

I really enjoyed this addition to the One Scoop or Two Series. I loved the characters and I especially loved the relationship between Zaria and her dad. They are so open with each other, even about the handsome man with dark hair that keeps frequenting the ice cream shop. She’s not shy to express her feelings about the man, and her dad is incredibly supportive of all her decisions, no matter what they are.

Plus, a drop dead gorgeous merman captain. Need I say more? A fun read!

Book Trailer for Bloodbond

Only a month until release day! I had so much fun writing Bloodbond, because I just adore Zachariah Degore. After being bitten by a vampire, he has lived in the darkness for ten years, trapped in an underground cell, never seeing the light of day. He has to learn what it means to be healthy and whole again, while trying his hardest to control feral urges in his vampire state.

When he meets Laurel Covaci, he is struck dumb. There is nothing in the world he wants more than her attention. It’s a shame she takes great pains to avoid him.

Can he win her favor? Can he prove that his feralness doesn’t define him?

Book Review of Secondhand Cowboy by Lacy Williams

My Review

What if you got a second chance to be with the love of your life? Would you take it?

I loved loved loved this book. So many feels. So many laughs. This was a well-rounded and well-written story that had me feeling everything ranging from happiness to heartache. I loved the characters, the setting, and I especially loved how it ended.

As a parent of a toddler, I related to this book in ways that had me laughing so hard. Oh, how many times has my son puked all over me without warning? Or battled me about taking a bath, only to not want to get out of the tub after?

I seriously loved this book. Highly recommend!

One Scoop or Two: Rainbow Sprinkles

Hi Sydney, thank you for inviting me here today to talk about my latest release, Rainbow Sprinkles. This novella is part of my publisher, Wild Rose Press’s summer series called One Scoop or Two.

Rainbow Sprinkles is something close to my heart. As a former owner of a small restaurant and ice cream shop, it was a perfect match. It deals with a second chance at romance. The main characters Gloriana Jones and Nathan James, both lost their spouses. They are now ‘seasoned’ adults and dealing with the concerns of meeting and dating someone after many years. Guilt, self-esteem, and worry about how things work now.

They get a little otherworldly help along with two drooly Bassett Hounds. I hope your followers will enjoy an uplifting story, whether at the beach, lake, their backyard or nearby park.
